Sven Hauck completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hamburg with a medical doctors degree, featuring multiple stays abroad, such as at Duke University, NC, USA and the University of Seville, Spain.

 Afterwards he started residency at the Medical University of Vienna and is currently training to become an interventional radiologist under the guidance of Prof. Martin Funovics. His scientific focus lies on fenestrated and branched abdominal and thoracal endovascular aortic repair.

 In his spare time he enjoys skiing, hiking and literature.
