Education is one of the most important topics of the Aortic Association, and complication management is a crucial element in cardiovascular surgical training.
The Aortic Association welcomes you to participate in an interdisciplinary learning lab for advanced trainees and young consultants in vascular and cardiac surgery.
Complication management by intraoperative application of new biomaterials and patient blood management tools” is the objective of this animal lab workshop.
The “Orthotopic aortic repair of native and prosthetic aortic infection using bovine pericardium” Learning lab will take place at the Centre for Biomedical Research at the Medical University in Vienna.
During the workshop in Vienna, you will get theoretical knowledge into complication management and be able to practice on an animal.
