Join us in unveiling a groundbreaking milestone in the medical field: the recognition of the aorta as a human organ. Watch as Prof. Dr. Martin Czerny presents the latest guidelines.
Complication management by intraoperative application of new biomaterials and patient blood management tools” is the objective of this animal lab workshop. The “Orthotopic aortic repair of native and prosthetic aortic infection using bovine pericardium” Learning lab will take place at the Centre for Biomedical Research at the Medical University in Vienna. During the workshop in Vienna, you will get theoretical knowledge into complication management and be able to practice on an animal.

For experienced users, we'll highlight troubleshooting and the versatility of endovascular repair from the aortic arch to the iliac axis. Day one's theory will end with case planning on the 3D workstation EndoSize and planning the next day's BEVAR case.
On day two, participants will join the pre-operative briefing, focus on the day's case, learn on-table deployment of a pre-cannulated endograft, and observe a BEVAR procedure.
