Aortic Summit 2023
Following the success of our first Aortic Summit in 2019 and our second in 2021, we proudly hosted our 3rd edition “Back to the roots”, back to Lugano!
Theme: FOCUS on the aortic arch
The arch is where all specialties come together and where the biggest potential for interdisciplinary collaboration is present, which is also the mission of the Aortic Association.
Understanding the disease forms the basis, being familiar with the treatment options available enlarges the armamentarium, and being able to implement them into clinical practice provides the freedom and the flexibility to offer sustainable personalized solutions to treat patients with acute and chronic thoracic aortic pathology in an aortic team.
During this summit, the participants were taken on a journey through the entire aorta and its branches, sharing expertise with a world-renowned faculty, and had the opportunity to practice during numerous workshops by addressing both open surgery and endovascular therapy.
Appreciation and Thanks
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participants, speakers, and organizers who made the 3rd Aortic Summit a success. Your contributions have been invaluable in our collective effort to improve patient care in aortic medicine.
Looking forward to future gatherings, we remain dedicated to furthering our mission and impacting the field positively.
